English Language Spring/Autumn Programmes (March/April/October)
Our English Language Spring/Autumn Programmes are the perfect way for teens to improve their language skills in an engaging and supportive environment. Offered during Spring and Autumn mid term break, this 10 day immersion programme, gives students the opportunity to immerse themselves in both language learning and cultural experiences.
Daily English Lessons
Each week, students will enjoy 15 hours of dynamic English language classes, led by our experienced and enthusiastic teachers. We have 4 classes per day: Reading and Writing, Speaking and Listening, Grammar and Vocabulary and Language Games. Our classes are designed to be fun, interactive, and tailored to the needs of each student, ensuring that they make real progress while having a great time. We focus on practical language use, helping teens to build confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing, all in a supportive, positive environment.
Beyond the classroom, students will have the opportunity to experience Irish culture through exciting activities and cultural experiences that complement their learning. Whether it’s exploring the famous gardens at Birr Castle Demesne or engaging in fun group activities, your teen will have plenty of opportunities to practice their English in everyday situations while making new friends and unforgettable memories.
On arrival students will sit a brief level test in order for us to correctly assess their acquired language skills and ensure they are placed in a class that will stimulate and challenge them to improve.
Our programmes are designed to be an enriching and fun way for teens to improve their English, experience Irish culture, and create lasting connections with other young people from around the world.
Upon successful completion of the course students will receive a certificate of completion and attendance.
Exciting Afternoon Activities (2 Hours per Day)
In addition to the engaging English language classes, our Spring/Autumn Programmes offer amazing, fun-filled afternoon activities that take place for 2 hours each day. These activities are designed to be both enjoyable and educational, all while reinforcing language learning through real-life, interactive experiences.
Students will have the chance to try out traditional Irish sports like hurling, engage in friendly competitions during our Irish Olympics, and even learn the steps to the lively and energetic Irish dancing. For those interested in history and culture, we offer visits to fascinating sites like Birr Castle and introduce teens to Celtic art, helping them understand the rich heritage of Ireland.
Our afternoon activities also include exciting treasure hunts, which encourage teamwork and problem-solving while using English in a fun and creative way. From exploring historical landmarks to participating in cultural workshops, every activity is an opportunity to practice English in real-life situations, all while having a blast and making new friends.
These activities ensure that each day is filled with laughter, learning, and memories that will last a lifetime.
Full Bed and Board with Local Host Families
A key highlight of all our Programmes is the opportunity for teens to stay with warm, welcoming local host families. We provide full bed and board in carefully selected homes, giving students a truly authentic experience of Irish life. Staying with a host family is not just about accommodation – it’s a unique cultural experience that allows teens to immerse themselves in the daily rhythms of Irish living.
Living with a host family offers students the chance to experience another way of life, gaining insights into local traditions, customs, and the Irish way of doing things. It’s a fantastic opportunity for teens to practice their English in a relaxed, natural setting, whether it’s around the dinner table, during family outings, or in day-to-day conversations.
This experience encourages independence and builds confidence while fostering lasting connections with Irish families. For many, the memories made with their host family become one of the most treasured parts of their journey – offering a true sense of Irish hospitality, friendship, and culture that lasts long beyond the programme.
Day Trips to Dublin, Limerick, and Galway
Our Spring/Autumn Programmes include an exciting day trip to one of Ireland’s most vibrant and historic cities: Dublin, Limerick, or Galway. These day trips are an essential part of the experience, providing students with the opportunity to explore the rich culture, history, and landmarks of Ireland, all while practicing their English in real-life situations.
Dublin

In Dublin, students will have the chance to discover the heart of Ireland’s capital city, exploring famous landmarks such as Trinity College, the historic Dublin Castle, and the bustling Temple Bar area.
Limerick

In Limerick, students will experience a mix of modern attractions and historic sites, including the impressive Bunratty Castle and Folk Village and the scenic River Shannon. The vibrant atmosphere of the city gives students plenty of chances to practice their English, whether they’re shopping, dining, or exploring the rich local culture.
Galway

Galway, where students will be immersed in the charming, artistic vibe of this west coast city. Known for its colourful streets, lively markets, and the stunning Claddagh, Galway offers a perfect blend of traditional Irish culture and modern excitement. Students will love wandering through the cobbled streets, discovering local shops, and enjoying the street performances that make the city so unique.
These day trips provide more than just sightseeing; they create the perfect environment for teens to engage with the Irish culture and language, all while having fun and making memories that will last a lifetime.
