About Us

OLA was originally founded by Marie Brady in Birr over 30 years ago. Since her retirement from the business, in 2019, sisters Nessa and Una Feehan have taken over and have worked to expand into other areas of Offaly.

Both Nessa and Una have many years experience and expertise in language teaching. 

Una graduated from the University of Limerick in 2015 with a degree in language teaching. Since then, she has taught English, French and Spanish in many different schools and academies across the world.

Nessa has lived for more than 10+ years in various Spanish speaking countries, developing a deep love for the language and culture, which allows her to lead the program with passion and experience. She has more than 10 years experience teaching English as a Foriegn Language.

Our Academy is located in the beautiful Georgian Heritage town of Birr, Co. Offaly.
